SKEA Spring Election Results 2010

For the first time in many years, the ballot was full, including the Secondary Education Director positions in a contested race. This is one sign of a healthy organization when people step forward with a desire to serve and represent their fellow members. Congratulations to the following members who were elected to represent you. Their term begins July 15, 2010 according to our bylaws. All directors will attend the annual SKEA Board Retreat, August 5,6, and 7th at the OEA Headquarters in Tigard Oregon.

2009-2010 SKEA Election Rules

1. Nominations
a. All candidates for positions must be active members of SKEA.
b. All candidates must complete and meet publication deadlines for submitting a nomination form (by the conclusion of the next regularly scheduled RA after nominations open currently scheduled for December 9, 2009).
c. Nominations open November 18, 2009.
d. All candidates must have their names submitted by the second call for nominations at the Dec. 9th RA.
