Memorandum of Understanding: Parent/Teacher Conference Schedule
Submitted by Webmaster on Tue, 11/24/2009 - 07:39.The following constitutes agreement between the District and the Association regarding holding in abeyance the (Article IV, Section F, 2 Extended Work Day) Conference Waiver.
This is a one-time-only change in the 2009-2010 language, and shall not establish any precedent, nor any change in the status quo.
The District and Association agree to hold Parent teacher conferences on the following dates and times:
For K-12 staff
11/23/09 – 12 consecutive hours with 2 meals and 1 prep inclusive
11/24/09 – 12 consecutive hours with 2 meals and 1 prep inclusive

Questions and Answers
1. What is a Memorandum of Understanding?
A Memorandum of Understanding or MOU is a short term agreement between the Association and the District regarding a contract issue jointly agreed upon outside of contract negotiations. The MOU was created by the joint calendar committee in an effort to conserve resources.
2. Does this mean that all conferences will be twelve hour days?
