UPDATED: SKEA Reaches Tentative Agreement for 2010-2013 Contract, Membership votes to accept
The Salem Keizer Education Association is pleased to announce that a tentative agreement has been reached in the negotiation of a new 2010-2013 contract. The SKEA Board of Directors on Tuesday, June 22, unanimously endorsed bringing this tentative agreement to membership for ratification.
Due to the summer recess, the SKEA ratification vote will be undertaken via US Mail. Members will be receiving a mailing to their address of record according to OEA that will contain an informational sheet, ballot and return envelope. The ballots are due 5:00 Monday, July 19th to the SKEA office.
The District school board meeting will be held at 6:00 p.m. on July 20, 2010 to address the proposed contract.
SKEA members will have the opportunity to come and hear the details of the proposed contract on the following dates. All meetings will be held at the SKEA office, 2540 Coral Ave. NE.
Thursday June 24 at 4:00 p.m.
Friday, June 25 at 10:00 a.m.
Monday June 28 at 4:00 p.m.
Monday July 19 at 10:00 a.m.
